For Sale: Rare K.R. Wilson All-Position Engine Stand (No. 838)

This KR Wilson All-Position Engine Stand is a more heavy-duty engine stand for larger engines (like Packard engines) or to have 2 technicians working at the same time (one in the front and one in the rear of the stand).  This engine stand is not the standard KR Wilson Engine stand which makes it so rare.

Differences between the No.838 engine stand vs the standard KR Wilson engine stand are:
1.  Upright vertical rib section is wider and thicker
2.  Upright base foundation area is thicker
3.  Upright has (4) threaded holes in the rear to attach a bent stabilizer bar
4.  Upright has (2) threaded holes to attach rear mount stabilizer
5.  Adapter housing snout is thicker

Deal Includes:
1. Original cast iron base with original wheels
2. Original base stabilizer screws
3. Original upright
4. Original Packard transmission adapter (No. 322)
5. Notch plate (not original)
6. Original adapter wing nut

Everything has been cleaned, primed, and painted in original KR Wilson red. This engine stand came from a Packard dealership.  This is the 1st No. 838 engine stand that I have ever seen! Would be great to display that extra engine or use it to rebuild it!
